Sambal Matah Chicken Rice Recipe

Ingredients

4 servings

400 grams of chicken thigh fillets

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground pepper

100 grams of ready-to-use seasoning flour

Right amount of oil

White rice

Curly lettuce leaves

Sambal Matah

16 shallots, finely sliced

10 red bird's eye chilies, thinly sliced

5 lime leaves, remove bones, finely chopped

3 stalks of lemon grass, white part, finely chopped

1½ teaspoons salt

½ swnsok cooked shrimp paste

5 limes, take the water

3 tablespoons of hot cooking oil


How to make


I. Marinate the chicken fillet with salt and ground pepper, coat with seasoned flour. set aside.

II.Heat a lot of cooking oil in a frying pan. Fry the chicken gradually until cooked and golden yellow. Lift, drain. set aside.

III. Sambal Matah: In a bowl, mix all ingredients except oil until blended. Knead until the ingredients wither. Pour hot oil on it, stir well.

IV. Serving: Put rice in a serving bowl, add lettuce and fried chicken fillet. Add chili sauce according to taste. Serve immediately.

TIPS:
Apart from limes, lime juice can also be used if it is difficult to get limes..
